Here’s a little twist on a D1 that I think you will find interesting. Built it with a CW neck (1 23/32" nut with and 2 1/4" bridge spacing. Added Adirondack braces, left the tongue brace off, and put a Dalmatian pickguard on it. Net result - A KILLER D1. This one is powerful and shimmery. Silky Sitka Spruce top; Mahogany back & sides; Ebony peghead veneer; Tortoise body binding; Scalloped bracing; Black/white wood strip purfling & rosette; Pearl dot markers; Nickel Waverly tuners; Case included.
