(Excellent ++) Up for grabs is a rare little guitar from Gibson. Basically a scaled down J-200. Think of it as a J-185 body with the cosmetics of the J-200. A fun and lively guitar that surprised me. This one is resonant and a rib rattler. You can really feel the vibrations of the back of this instrument when you play it. I’s say Gibson did this one very right. Not many of these floating around.

(Excellent +++) This little Kopp is as close to new as you’ll ever see, and it’s stunning. Custom ordered from Kevin, this one is a joy to play and hear. Vintage Gibson type tone, but with more articulation and character. Sounds a lot like a great J-35 in a smaller package. My first experience with a Kopp, and I am now a big fan.

Finish is original and in near mint condition. All hardware original and looking good. A rare find in this condition. Now it just needs a loving new owner.

Just a beautiful set of Brazilian Rosewood, and the lacquer is unbelievably intact. Powerful and alive, this little sweetheart just wants to be played.

Martin did a good thing building the Golden Era series guitars, and this one will not disappoint.

One of the best designs ever to come out of the Gibson Custom Shop. This one has it all, stunning beauty, tone, and playability. A special instrument with incredible craftsmanship and a hauntingly warm voice. This is a great value. Like a scaled down 335. Like the marriage of a Les Paul and a 335.

1968
Martin D28 (Used)
This
fine offering was purchased new by
the owner in 1968. VG condition. Sitka
spruce top with Brazilian Rosewood
back & sides. This guitar has
been to local luthier Dick Dubois,
for his inspection. He reports that
the following work is recommended:
Reglue Bridge; Refret & true fretboard;
& Replace Pickguard. The cost
of these repairs would be approximately
$360.00. He also reported that the
neck will need resetting soon, and
would recommend doing it at the same
time. The total estimate of repairs
is $610.00. The Brazilian Rosewood
is a fine set, and has no cracks or
issues. The top has finish wear around
the soundhole and upper bouts, but
is in Very Good Condition for its
age. No cracks or issues with top
other than previously described. Some
finish checking as would be normal
for the vintage. The guitar has the
original Grover Tuners, and are fully
functional. The case is of this vintage,
but I do not believe it to be the
original. This is a fine Brazilian
D28.
